Acquisition of SGMS Technical Services by Integral

Momentum Corporate Finance advised Integral on the acquisition of midlands-based SGMS Technical Services from the company's administrators KPMG. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The transaction sees 112 SGMS employees transferred to Integral, together with plant, vehicles, equipment and 30 contracted customers. Integral has taken a three months licence on the SGMS premises in Solihull, ahead of transferring the operations to Integral's Birmingham office.

The deal further reinforces Integral's position as the UK's largest and fastest growing independent provider of property maintenance services.

Integral has the UK's largest maintenance fleet of more than 1,200 vehicles, and skilled technicians in every postcode area. It has a turnover in excess of £180 million and employs over 2,500 staff.
